Caring For Your Swoolly
Beautifully made. Naturally easy to care for.
Every Swoolly piece is crafted from premium Australian Merino wool—a remarkable natural fibre that's designed to be worn often and enjoyed for years to come.
Unlike many fabrics, Merino wool naturally regulates temperature, resists odours and releases moisture, meaning your garment stays fresher for longer. Often, simply airing your Swoolly between wears is all it needs.
When it's time for a wash, these simple steps will help keep it looking and feeling beautiful.
Everyday Care
- Air your garment between wears whenever possible.
- Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle wool cycle.
- Use cold or lukewarm water (maximum 40°C).
- Wash with a mild wool detergent.
- Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
- Turn your garment inside out before washing to help protect the fibres.
- Gently reshape while damp and lay flat to dry in the shade.
- Avoid tumble drying and direct sunlight.
With the right care, your Swoolly will maintain its softness, shape and natural beauty for many seasons to come.
A Few Things to Remember
Merino wool is naturally odour resistant, so it doesn't need washing after every wear.
The less frequently you wash your garment, the longer it will retain its beautiful appearance while also reducing water and energy use—a win for both your wardrobe and the environment.
Like all natural fibres, wool may occasionally develop small pills in high-friction areas. This is perfectly normal and can be easily removed with a wool comb or fabric shaver, helping your Swoolly look as beautiful as the day you bought it.
Need Help with a Spill?
Life happens.
If you've accidentally spilled something on your Swoolly, don't panic. Wool's natural protective outer layer helps resist many everyday stains, making them easier to remove than you might expect.
